interests.

most of my days have been limited to listening to mystery jets, florence & the machine whist sticking burberry, aquascutum & roksanda ilincic ad campaigns to my walls with PVA, watching the rain beating at the window. other days are spent catching the X3 to the beach, lying on an insufficiently sized towel and getting irregular, patchy sunburn. however, i long to get back to the city for autumn. when everyone is back. back to school, back to work. the return of london, after an enduring, lethargic summer.

new additions to my ever-expanding playlist are:

pulp; golden silvers; jarvis cocker; little boots; the jam; frankmusik; marina and the diamonds; two door cinema club; good shoes; chester french.

and of course, all time favourites: florence & the machine's new album 'lungs' and patrick wolf's album ' the batchelor, are both exceedingly brilliant.

new additions to my not so rapidly expanding wardrobe are: burberry style cashmere coat (always a classic) for a/w'09. floral prints & demin to last me the summer. then a classic black jacket (from one of my favourite designers, i dont like to say which) for dinner parties.

currently studying with great care: mario testino photographs & the growingsofasticantkeepmyfingeronit world that is fashion. however, so far i have grasped the general ideas of English (Roksanda Ilincic, Paul Smith, Burberry, Aquascutum, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood) and French (Hermes, Chanel, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent) major fashion houses. So we shall see who mimicks them. Dare I say Milan & New York have yet to come. when i have the time. There is something about French & English style that is timeless.

I have to say, BALMAIN is definately my favourite at the moment. black & gold. leather. they do it all so well.

I'm currently in suspension from love, as my boyfriend is in kenya. and has been for the last month. however, he gets back on saturday. So when i see him i will finally be off Facebook, and out of this miserable, claustrophobic attic which is my bedroom. I am excited to see him again. beautiful boy. he has amazingly alluring brown eyes.

i've spent enough time studying tube maps, loosing my ticket & crouching from pigeons. so it's nice to be in the country. but i am looking forward to going back.
